JD 2210 transmission cooler fan

I ran a stick through the transmission cooler fan on my JD 2210. No other damage was done. I have purchased a new fan and was lying under the tractor looking at what appears to be a real bugger of a job. Before I did something I might regret, I was hoping to get some advice. Is there a relatively painless way to get the fan on, or... Thanks for the help!
