they won't cr@ap in your pool, and for the most part the will stay out of your yard.. also they are great on ticks.. they won't bother your kid.. bet $100 that he could not get within 15 feet of them.. and a dog catch them? not a chance after they can fly.. I have around 30 of them.. hardly ever see them.. only seen three ticks this year.. so I would say GO FOR IT! you will never be sorry..
