So you want a toy tractor? The original N vintage loader was worse than pitiful. I had a Wagner loader on my 8N. It wouldn't dump snow, had no down force, had to chain the three point down to get hydraulic pressure to the loader, then couldn't control the rear blade. Turned out the rear blade was more effective for moving snow than the loader. But it also turned out that a JD garden tractor with a snow blower was far more effective than the 8N with blade because I'd run out of places to push snow with the blade, but the blower could toss snow up on top of the previous pile. A good loader like the one that was on my MF-135 with dual acting cylinders on lift and bucket (the Wagner loader was trip bucket only) is more effective than the 36" snow blower. Though a dual stage blower would be better than the one I have. That MF loader works much better on my JD-4020 now, since there's enough tractor weight that a bucket load of rock doesn't lift the rear wheels off the ground. Gerald J.
