Hytran is an IH brand name for universal hydraulic-transmission oil. Deere calls theirs Hygard, etc. NAPA will have a generic equivalent. Just make sure it meets Hytran specs. (Hytran has the highest specs) They probably have a grade that is just hydrualic but not transmission oil, dont get that. I use a generic equivalent made by ALCO and I use it in my JDs, a Ford 5000 selectospeed, and even the hydrualic systems of my old 2 cyl JDs. Some of the other people in this forum may skin me alive for this answer, but I think many people worry way too much over the "right" oil for their tractor. Its good enough for a modern 100+ HP tractor transmission and hydrualic system. Just get some lubrication in the darn thing.
