ID Plate on Massey Harris Tractor

I just picked up a MH 30 the castings say it is a 1952, there is no ID plate on it and no indication it was removed or ever had one. All the MHs I have ever seen, and my other MHs have a plate either on the R or L side of the frame has anyone else ever run into this.
