Hi Guys: Looking for some ideas to think about. I have a 1 acre "fish pond" -- stocked with blue gills & bass. Actually, don't get to fish as much as I like. Had an outbreak of algae this year that has covered the pond -- think it began last year, I just didn't realize what it was. But this year it's covered wall to wall. Obviously, can't kill it this time of year...since all that decaying algae will wipe out my fish. I have a small supply of Copper Sulfate in the garage from a good 20 years ago -- remember Papu (essentialy, my grandfather) talking about having to kill weeds every great once in a while. I'm thinking now this algae is what the problem is, since I've never seen much "pond" weeds. Honestly, I need to write a manual for whoever owns the house next of all the little maintenance items he used to do...and I'm finding out the hard way about 'em as I discover them. But any suggestion / ideas to think about to control this come this fall / winter / next spring???
