Not sure how thick the barrier was, maybe 6 mil? I hired a seperate contractor to level the sight, I told him I wanted a good, firm clay base, and I would pay him to haul in the clay if he knew where to find it. He told me that where I lived, he would guarantee that I already had all the clay needed, he would just have to dig a bit to find it. He did have to dig deeper than he originally thought, but he found it, and when he was done with the sight, it was just like a paved highway. In fact, the truck that delivered the building had to drive over the sight so he could unload on the opposite end, and that fully loaded 18 wheeler did not even leave a mark.
