Exactly! I'm converting most everything I get to the Pioneer 'universal' style, & the blue stuff tends to like the cone tip for me. Like you say on the compacts, got a remote installed new & it came with that undersized worthless to me connector on it, had to change brand new out even. Then for the female side of things, there are quick discinnect, which save your hoses from getting torn off; there are pressure release levers for easier coupling, and on & on. Cheapest is sometimes too cheap on this, imho. --->Paul
