Some practical advice. FIRST, when it stops, check the spark - if there is one! If it is a good, strong, blue spark, it is NOT the ignition system. No spark or weak yellow spark indicates an ignition problem. If not the spark side, Check the fuel flow from the carburetor when the problem arises. Full continuous is OK, a dribble is indicative of a fuel shortage. You need to diagnose it first, then fix the problem, not run round changing things which may cause you other problems as well as the original one! So, first find the system which is at fault , then post back so we can give some good advice and not just be guessing at the cause, as at present. Regards, RAB
