That's kinda strange. Like I said, my 3000 is a 66 model and I pull the 565 with hardly any trouble at all. The only time it makes the tractor grunt any is if I'm on a hill somewhere in heavy hay, but it's never been to bad, and trust me, we've got some pretty good hills here in east Kentucky. NH recomends at least a 35 pto hp tractor to run the 565, but I really wouldn't want any less than what I've got. The 565 is also a heavy son of gun, weighs in at over 3100 lbs. I don't do much plowing, but when I do, I pull 2 14's, usually in 4th with out any trouble. As of now, I've got no complaints with the 66' 3000. Mines been a great "little" tractor. Casey
