Definitely a canopy. Get a metal one as large as you can fit to the tractor. I prefer the polished aluminum but a painted steel one is o.k., however paint the top on either white. White paint will reflect 87% of the heat while the aluminum will reflect 66+ %. Not only is this cooler but it will let you work in a light drizzle and is welcome in a downpour as you run for cover. I even have a canopy(robbed from a golf cart) mounted on my 4 wheeler which I use when checking on the cattle. I leave it on year around as during the winter we have lots of unfit days. I know you will enjoy the canopy and you do understand the benefit of minizing skin to excessive sun. Still use the sunscreen daily.
