Thatīs no joke. When I lived in south Louisiana, a friend and I watched crows coming and going to their roost in the morning and evening. We set up on the edge of a cane field in their daily flight path before dawn with the crow call playing and we each went thru a box of shells. Went back in the afternoon and did the same as they headed back to roost. Once you get one or two on the ground, they just keep coming. We did that four or five days in a row. Most fun I ever had with a shotgun.
