Gentlemen, Am trying to repair a small grain bin. This bin is the free standing type(on 4 legs) that necks down at the bottom to facilate an auger. This bins are commonly used around chicken houses. My problem is there are some rusted out places on the bottom of the area where the augers attack, on a ring. These rusted out areas are maybe 1/8th inch wide and any where from 1 to 2 inches long, running horizonatally around ring on bottom. Planning to put some shelled corn in this bin, it will work now, just trying to keep water from getting in. My only thoughts was maybe use JB weld, hoping you guys maybe might have some experience. Thanks DSELLERs
