You must remember, you have options! You have your health, you're not buried in debt, you're no stranger to hard work. That puts you ahead of the game! Just some out-loud thinking: 35 is not too old to start a family. Might be a challenge to find the right gal, but stranger things have happened. Don't know what part of the country you hail from, but check around--try the churches, gyms/health clubs, even the PTA. Might even find a lady that already has a boy or two that will need some mentoring. Does your community have a Big Brother program? This would be an opportunity to pass along some of the lessons you have learned. Yes, their Dad will call the shots, but you need to continue to be there for the neighbor boys. You can be a sounding board for them and continue to pass along shop tips and the like. As to the military, or any other careers, that will have to be decided between them and their Dad. As they get older, they'll be able to tell him their preferences. You have too much to offer to keep it buried. Find ways to get involved. Set up a question and answer column in the local newspaper for tractor/mechanical/construction issues. Join some organizations. Sometimes we get buried in the demands of work and forget the social aspects. Whatever you do, tomorrow's another day, and you are NOT alone! Good luck and God bless!
