A few Massey dealers sold Claas equipment here too, one reason (and I was told this by a MF rep ! ) is because the MF combines were no where nearly as good as the Claas. By comparison the MF combines seemed "tinny" and unreliable. Fendts are very good tractors. Just to confuse matters, Renault and Fendt used to use the same German engines (M.W.M.) which were reknowned for their high torque and low fuel consumption. M.W.M. are now part of the Deutz group.
