I wouldn't recommend any of the 5000 or 5000 ten series, but if they are going to buy a current Deere, the 5400, 5410 would be the better choice. The four cylinder engines are smoother and quieter. Plus, there is only so much extra rental land you can farm with a 5200/5210, bigger is better, and most definately, older is better. I just spent 10 hours bushoggin' with my 1640, and it's one of the most comfortable tractors I've driven. Bill
