Daryl, my manual doesn't show a wiring diagram, but has the following to say Full bale light does not flash when tailgate latch is opened: Probable cause : Poor connections:faulty full bale switch:Polarity reversed:faulty control switch:Trash build up on switch. If the wire has been crossed it may cause a polarity problem in the switch...I don;t know much as we just got this 484 New Idea and I'm just reading the manual. I just got the manual from my local dealer, they still have them in stock..about a 10 year old baler....Mike in Exeter Ontario
