Seriously, it depends a lot on your storage environment... Clean, dry, no condensation cycles (hot days/cold nights).. not a lot is gonna happen... Run it once a month until everything gets good and warm... It's good to actually drive'em to circulate the oil in the transmission and axles etc. Humid, condensing environment, I'd run every couple weeks or even weekly. Keep Diesel treatment in the fuel, keep your tanks full so condensation doesn't build up, keep antifreeze in the cooling system to resist corrosion.... Actually 'working' them just gives you an opportunity to open the carb or diesel injectors 'up' and blow the carbon out..
