Yep thats sort of the idea. I once rigged up a mag to do just that and it worked ok. Not the best set up but when you need and don't have the $$ to buy you do what you have to do. I just hooked a small eletric motor to the mag and hooked the plug wires to the fence and grounds the mag body to the ground. As I sadi not the best set up but it did work
