Don't know Rich, but for me Honda engines like gas that's fresh and has ZERO water in it. I'm guessing that when you hit the "deep holes" last week, somehow water got in the fuel. Does running the choke on help at all, or does it just die with this too? In the winter, do you keep the tank completly full except when it's running? It's amazing how much condensation forms on the inside when it's cold. Keep in mind this is all just a guess, but try completly draining, flushing, and refueling before you take it to someone that's not essactly cheap for work. Good luck, JohnDeereGreen
