I just cleaned up a really nasty, dirty radiator a few days ago. It got plugged with oily mist from a hydraulic leak, combined with field dirt. I removed the radiator, and cleaned it with my gas-powered pressure washer and warm water and soap. The advantage of the gas-powered pressure washer over an electric one is that you can throttle down the gas engine to the point where the pressure is low enough not to damage the radiator fins, yet there is enough pressure for good cleaning action.
