Farmall Super M LP acts like it is flooded

My 53 Farmall super M LP was running great. I use it to power an irrigation pump. It had just completed running for about 6 hours the night before. I went to get it and take it to the fuel tank. It started fine but when I let the clutch out it acted like the choke was pulled all the way out. It is an LP and it don't have a choke. It would run fine until it encountered ANY small load then it started having trouble. I nursed it to the shop and it got worse along the way. I have been through the regulator and found nothing wrong. Took the bottom half of the carb. off and cleaned. Nothing wrong. Fuel is coming to the carb. I can take the hose off the bottom of the carb and fuel will come out of the hose when I press the button on the side of the regulator but it will not flow all of the time. I am under the impression the carb should draw the fuel, not be force fed, and this appears to be the case. It is NOT being force fed. I have cleaned the air cleaner and am confidant it is getting air freely. I have even removed the hose from the carb to the air cleaner just to be sure. The more I mess with it the worse it gets. I have put new points, condenser, plugs, wires, rotor, cap and set the timing. Now it will just barely start and run for maybe 4 or 5 seconds and then die. I was starting to restore it little at a time so I have a new battery, both cables are new, new wires from the coil to the switch, and several other things not related to engine performance. I am at a loss at this point. What else is there? I need this thing to get to work and pump water quick. Please help. I am open to ANY suggestion. Thanks.
