Second and third cuttings here were short, but I don't think as bad as you're saying your's was. I have one neighbor that has just cut twice and has over 2000 round bales and wants someone to put the third up on shares. Talking to people over the country, I hear more stories about too little rain than too much. Checked my corn today and it pollinated okay, but is going to be very light on test weight if it does not rain this week. The early maturing soybean varieties planted early look good, the later ones are podded far apart and have only two beans per pod.
