Well it was a sad day when Garden-Way ( Troy Bilt ) decided to sell out a few years ago, and leave here, the local senate majority leader did make an effort to help, but in NY, and in the City of Troy, a lot of post industrial revolution business left or went bust. I knew the facility well, used to deliver there years ago, and used to get parts for my tiller there, was kind of cool to have the place in your backyard and also be proud of a product like they made, from your home town. Lot of people lost good jobs, same old story, know the people who own the facility now, at least it's not abandoned. Another long time one, Schrade Cutlery in Ellenville, NY 100 years now re-organized and am lead to believe products are made in china, not 100% sure what the deal is, they made a fine product too.
