Are you doing round or square bales? 100 hp is not overkill for round bales. I use my Allis Chalmers 190XTD to do round and small squares and it about twice as big as needed for the square. I also use a 62 Ford 4000 Select O Speed which is one of the best I have used to do small squares. With the slip clutch on the baler, too large a tractor is not a problem except for the manuvering as was mention in a prior post. My fields are open so it is not a problem.
