Snapper, and Simplicity are now owned by Briggs and Stratton. Husqvarna is owned by Electrolux Home Products, the saem company that sells, Poulan, Poulan Pro, Sears Craftsman. MTD owns White, Yard Man, Troybilt, Cub Cadet, Yard Machine, Ryobi, McCulloch, Manufacturers Lesco's equipment, They are also manufactureing the low end Toro tractors, and maybe a few more. Don't knwo who is making the low end John Deere tractors, don't look like a Deere, but everyone says Deere does not have anyone but Deere making their little low dollar tractors.

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
