I'm not familiar with Case, but I would imagine that a 2470 transmission takes a bit of time to get at and work on. You've got $88 into good-quality bearings now. You'd save about $68 going with the questionable bearings. Is it really worth it? Just think how hard you'd want to kick yourself if those questionable bearings fail. You'd spend way more than $68 in gaskets, time, ect. going back in there and doing the job again.
