Here, kick this around a little. I once went with a friend who had just gotten a boat...we put it in the water and run a few hundred yards and it quit...and wouldn"t restart. Finally, I started looking the situation over and questioning him and when it came to the oil he got for the tank...he said just oil. I took the lid off of the gas tank and peeked inside. Now the oil he used was just engine oil...like 10w30 or the like and it didn"t mix at all...it was just like strands laying in there. So, this brings up this question: Would it do the same thing in diesel? If it wouldn"t mix with gas, maybe it won"t mix well with diesel either. Fred OH
