The "O" ring and seal kit for that pump is less than $30.00. The Stanadyne kit used to include the governor damper ring, now it doesn't, but some aftermarket kit MAY include it. Stanadyne wants you to upgrade to the improved weight carrier for $50.00 or more, which is a good idea. However, it ran for thousands of hours with the original setup, and will run for thousands more with the damper ring replaced with the original style. Anyhow, if the pump is otherwise OK, if you can find an old-timer that used to work on these pumps when they were serviced at the dealerships, rather than exclusively at $$$$ pump shops, he can put the seal and ring kit in for the $30.00, and a couple hours labor. Obviously, he won't be able to calibrate it on a pump stand, but the important adjustments are not disturbed but installing the damper ring. Just don't brag in your "for sale" ad that the pump is "new" or "completely rebuilt".
