Remove the distributor cap, then the rotor, then pull the dust cover up and off of the distributor, to expose the points. Clean the points, with them CLOSED, by drawing a clean piece of white cardstock through them a few times, then rotate the engine so the points are OPEN, and finish the job with a spray of electrical contact cleaner, and allow that to air dry, with the points remaining open. Verify the point gap, IIRC, .020", with a CLEAN feeler gauge. (Clean it of any residual oil with contact cleaner, before using it to check the points, as ANY oil, even from a fingerprint, can mess the points up again.) If you have spark after this, you should be "good to go". If it happens the spark fails again after a little run time, replace the breaker points.
