Jed, My heartfelt prayers are with you and your Dad. I lost my 83 yr. old Dad back in '03 and still miss him terribly. My dad had lung cancer and never recovered from surgery to remove spot, was unsteady on his feet and fell and broke his hip. Thankfully, it only took 9 months for him to die. Now that is a horrible statement to someone that has not lived through this situation. My mom passed in '95, had a heart attack and died 4 days later. To me, quicker is better, it is too hard to see them suffer and it is also unimagineably(sp) hard to make that decision. I know that I will always miss my parents, but as time has passed I am glad they are no longer here, struggling in this world and suffering in old bodies. You are going through a hard time and it seems like it wont ever get better, but in time it does....days, weeks, months, 1st year anniversary is hard, but then things started to get better for me. I know this is long, will close with this prayer. May God give you strength, grace and wisdom. Logan
