Ed, if you are willing to pay a little more then I am thrilled to sell you a USA made tire. Good for you. And yes there are USA made tires, sometimes you have to look a little to find it. Which is also why I try really hard to avoid Walmart whose motto should be, "Saving the Chinese economy one USA job at a time".
