Ive been in europe for the past several weeks. Mostly in Germany. I've taken notice to a lot of the farm equipment over here. And most of the tractors I see have 3pt hitches on the front and rear as well as pto's both front and rear. I just thought that was pretty interesting. Because I have seen front 3pt hitches showing up lately on some of the larger tractors in USA but never front pto's. Another thing i noticed was a vehicle called an UNIMOG made by mercedes. Has anyone ever heard of one. They are like utility trucks that can be available with 3pt hitches and front mid and rear pto's. And they have portal axles like some of the high clearance tractors so they have excellant ground clearance. I think it would be cool to have one, but i hear they are quite expensive to come by in the states. Well just thought Id share some of my impressions.
