Power King tractors had rear drives built for at least 25hp and most, if not all, used Kohler engines with less than 25hp. They were roughly comparable to today's Ingersoll brand which is basically the old Case garden tractor. Power Kings are very good machines but they were way overpriced in their later years. There was a time when $1000 would buy a new one and then, a few years later, you couldn't touch one for under $5000. Enter Kubota, Yanmar, etc. and Power King was history.
