Hello JUst throwing a call for help to all you IH wrench pullers. Neighbour brought a tractor over and said a shell had turned. No oil pressure and it made a squawking noise when it ran. well we pulled the pan there was no fillings in the bottom and not even one shell turned and the crank was in good shape. pulled the oil pump off and it had a few scraches but nothing that wouldn't still pump oil. Well we put new berings in and a rebuilt oil pump (since we had it apart)and started it. It has oil pressure but still Squawks like crasy The noise sounds like a shaft vibrating in a real loose hole. Here is what we have determined is not the problem. NOt the alternator bearing. not the turbo. not the starter staying engaged. we have not pulled the top end apart yet. Could it be a cam bearing? Could it be the TA making the noise in the Tranny ? is there a throwout bearing on the cluch that could be making the noise. Motor does not sound loose at all. So have any of you had any experience with a problem like this? Thanks in advance!!

I’m par
