If I had it to do over, I would really consider the stainless steel units sold at Costco. They look good and the price is hard to beat new. If you are going to be leaving your tools in a shop where you work with other mechanics, you probably want a pro type box, like a snap-on or mac, that will lock very securely and protect your investment. Occasionally I see used pro boxes for sale in the newspaper, which might be the way to go if you can find some that meet your needs at the right price. For use at home, most anything works OK. Most of my mechanic tower came from Sears, and it works fine. I also have scrounged a bunch of old metal file cabinets that were surplussed by the school district for $10 each. They make it easy to find things and are especially good for larger portable tools. Good luck!
