Get a 05 or new as the guy down the post said. LOL I know of a 05 that was in the shop twice in a months time due to the heads lifting off the engine. His big mistake. He accepted 2 months of payments from ford. Now they will not touch the truck due to that. He tore the rear end out of it too. He says now it would only take a couple ton load to fry the engine again. Very low on power after the shop visits. There has been alot of talk about this in Farmshow paper the last few months. The thing is the 6.0 was designed as a nice quite street engine not for heavy pulling. It makes since they will not hold up due to the fact your making more power out of a smaller engine with highed compression. Want to buy a ford diesel. Gwt a old early 90 with a 5 speed. the old 7.3 was great got good mileage and ran for ever. Want a new truck Dodge and Chevy got 2 nice diesels. 6.0 RUN !!!!!!!!!
