Thats how I learned to drive tractor was by riding with my dad. Taught my Daughter the same way. But of course there are people who have had some bad accidents. 20 yrs ago a local doctor borrowed a friends tractor and rototiller and loaded up the kids. His 3 old fell off and got chopped up pretty good (Fatal) Now the funniest one was when my GF was riding with me raking hay and a grasshopper crawled up her pantleg and she bailed off and jerked her pants down. Dad was baling next field over and got a free moon shot.
