I suppose most or some of you have heard about the Steelers player who had an accident on his fancy high powered motorcycle. Some dumb woman made a left turn in front of him, downtown, in traffic, and he promptly hit the car on the right windshield post area. No helmet! Reinforces a notion i have had for years--people with hard heads will not realize the head is not as hard as they think! any way, he's back in the fall line-up. don't know if he's going to ride mc again. Kinda reminds me of some now dead friends who often said:"I wouldn't be caught dead in a safety helmet!" They weren't! Especially old Sam Schotte! He said that. And, one night, full of booze, he turned right out of a local roadhouse, onto a 4 lane, got hit on left front, door opened, Sam fell out--cars came to gether and:"Splut"! Dead as a doornail, and not in his seat belt! Goodbye Sam!
