However, I think Ted in his post above has hit the nail square on the head. You're listenin' to that typical IH "rappin, flutterin'" sound that they all do from time to time.

If it pulls okay under a load and ya can stand that insistant, normal, loud, IH yammerin' noise, ignore that flutter and enjoy yer tractor. :>)
