I know what you mean. Our insurance guy asked me if I wanted earthquake coverage. I asked him wouldn't the house be covered if an earthquake knocked down the house. He said oh no. The coverage was very high and he said it wouldn't cover fondation damage!!! You got to be kidding me. So like you said, in case of an earthquake my house may go up in flames.
