Last week I (honestly) ran across a tractor deal I wasn't about to pass up. A Ford Jubilee with a Davis 'Step-thru' loader on the front with a 'manure bucket' AND a forklift mast (with side-shift) on the back. Tight steering, good sheet metal & tires, iron wheel weights all around.....$1,200 obo! Now, first off, who would set up such a useful piece in the first place and WHY not grab it at that price? Because I made the error of trying to discuss it with the wife first.....that's why. I bought it for a thousand bucks so I can sell 5 thousand worth of tractors on the place that do those 2 jobs and she's been at her sister's for the last week. Coming home tomorrow but, I'm thinking I should have made more of an effort to get rid of the 2 'obsolete' tractors while she was gone. Oh well, I can always shower my affections on my tractors.....They CAN be just as difficult at times....
