B&D, What a way to start your day. It reminds me of a call our department had a couple months ago. This was about ~5pm, coming on supper time anyway. We get a mutual aid call for possible structural fire in neighbouring district. We roll 2 trucks, they roll 2 more... They arrive on scene first. There is no fire. There is smoke throughout the house though, with no apperant source. The boys are looking high and low... the basement, the attic. No sign of anything. There's just some smoke hanging in one room. To make a long story short, the lady of the house burnt a ham in the oven. It took close to half an hour to coax this factoid from her... until the cheif lifted the lid of the pot, still sitting in the sink. Apperantly this had happened some time before, and the smoke was still hanging around, and she got worried. We got a good chuckly form it, as we were just as happy it wasn't a fire. Some days are like that.... Rod
