Well, the best you can hope for is that he'll sell it back to you before he dies! If he doesn't, and his offspring get their hands on it, you can bet they'll sell it to the highest bidder, and if you can't ante up the higher bid, you'll probably lose it! Model A and T fords are hot items now. Although some of the steam has gone out of prices in the last 5-10 years or so, but still some interest in them. Especially if in pristine condition. As a special interest person, you might get them to sell it to you, but you'd probably have to do some sweet talk to get it! I can remember buying Model A's and T's in the late 40's, for $35-$50, that ran good and were road worthy. I bought one for $35 that ran great. I drove it 20 miles a day to work and back, for 3 years, then sold it to a friend who needed a cheap car to drive home to Louisville, TN. He made the trip in 2 days, and drove the car for another 2 years, then sold it to a man who restored it! I had a '29 A roadster that i drove to New york City for a vacation trip! Ran great, no trouble, got home safe! Sold it to a man who made a hot rod out of it! So, talk well and often to that man, before he dies! Rusty J.

I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
