I almost bought one of these a couple years ago, but I had to walk away (wife said no). I already have too many projects & not enough time, so wasn"t worth the fight. This one was built by Topeka Tractor and used by the highway dept with a sickle bar mower attached to the side for keeping the grass beside the road under control. They had some pretty interesting multi-purpose vehicles back then. I met a guy a couple years back that purchased a mostly restored Empire tractor at an estate sale for $600. He hadn"t seen one before & thought it was a home built of some sort. He found the ID tag and googled it. Turns out it is very rare and worth over $30,000! I added a link to to the Empire tractor club photo"s in this post. Enjoy. Tim
