We had a CJ3 w/pto, pulled a Case sickle mower with it. Like the above, had to put a cover over the driveshaft to keep the down hay from winding up on the driveshaft. Had to pull a lot of hay off of that driveshaft before we covered it. Use it to pull a bushhog type mower and had to put a screen on the back to protect the driver from the wooden chunks being thrown up into the jeep. It would just walk with a gang of disc behind it, but when you put that 2 moldboard plow behind it, it knew it was back there. We had to remove the hood to help keep the motor cool when plowing. Sold it and have wished a many a time that I had not done so. The old jeeps were really a "workhorse", not compared to those of today. Would like to see a pulling contest with the old one and the new ones. Now have a '81 model six cylinder motor and it won't pull near as much as the old CJ3, miss that old gal. Good Luck......
