Sal, I doubt if the temp gauge is has an electrical sending unit. Take a look, it probably has a capillary tube. If so, it is independant of the 12 volts. The amp gauge will work. Was your tractor neg or pos ground with the 6 volt? If it was pos ground you will have to switch the wires around on the posts of the ammeter. Otherwise the charge will show discharge and the discharge will show charge. The fuel gauge is the difficult one. You need to buy a dropping resistor from 12 volts to 6 volts for the fuel gauge itself. The ballast resistor wattage load is for the coil and points only.
