Occasionally it falls on me to do something cold - like euthanize a diseased animal - but it is always done as quickly as I am able. Anyone who would deliberately allow ANYTHING to starve to death in a trap is not right in the head. What a hateful and cowardly way to kill an animal. Places like Dr's. Foster & Smith and J-B Wholesale sell products to repel cats, but I don't know if they work well in an outdoor environment.
