The look in the eyes of the people that grew up with that equipment was enough for me to keep the preservation efforts. The interest in the eyes and on the faces of the younger generations that were taking in as much as they could was also very uplifting. I really can't stand to hear stories of people sending all of this old iron to the scrap heap. Yeah, I know that the money might be good, but there is always someone out there who will buy whatever it may be that you have. Just keep that in the back of your head if you ever get the notion to scrap something. Obviously you can't go down to the corner market and buy a new one.
