My father bought his BR in 1944 (the year I was born). His was an all fuel hand start. When asked why he didn't get electic start and lights, his answer was "The day I have to start working day and night to farm, I'll quit!!" Boy, times sure have changed. Wish I still had that BR, traded for a TEA Fergie in 1954.
